Theresa Town Board   _       Regular Meeting  __       February 5,
2007

The regular meeting of the Theresa Town Board was held on February 5,
2007 in the Theresa Town Hall.  The agenda for this meeting was posted
at the Town Hall Board, TSB Bank, and the Theresa Post Office.   

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Paul Christian at 7:30
p.m.  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  A motion was made by
Supervisor Brian Caspary and seconded by Supervisor Frank Kuczkowski
to approve the agenda.  Motion carried. (3 ayes)  The minutes of the
January 3, 2007 meeting were read by the clerk.  A motion was made by
Supervisor Kuczkowski and seconded by Supervisor Caspary to approve
the minutes.  Motion carried (3 ayes). 

FINANCIAL
The financial report was given by Treasurer Diane Koch.  A motion was
made by Supervisor Caspary and seconded by Supervisor Kuczkowski to
approve the financial report as given.  Motion carried.  (3 ayes)  
Budget status report was reviewed.  Supervisor Kuczkowski motioned to
approve payment of the bills.  Motion was seconded by Supervisor
Caspary.  Motion carried.  (3 ayes)

CORRESPONDENCE
Chairman Christian received an invitation to a dinner/seminar from
Northeast Asphalt.  He also received a letter from Dodge County
Highway Department concerning the county bridge aid program.  
A newsletter from Grota Appraisals was looked at.

PUBLIC FORUM

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
-Code of Ordinances:  Attorney Patrick Madden’s office has completed
work on our Code of Ordinances.  It will be put on next month’s
agenda.

NEW BUSINESS
-Resolution 2-5-07 to reduce pollworkers:  Motion was made by
Supervisor Kuczkowski to adopt the resolution to reduce the number of
pollworkers for the February Primary election to three.  Motion was
seconded by Supervisor Caspary.  Motion carried (3 ayes).
-County Zoning:  There was discussion on how to make a decision about
going to county zoning.  County Supervisor Gerry Adelmeyer said that
the County is thinking about combining the Land Resources and Parks
Department with the Land Conservation Department and may no longer do
zoning as the County is trying to find ways to cut expenses.  If that
happens, zoning would go back to the Towns.  He won’t know for at
least three months what the county will do.  It was decided to discuss
the county zoning issue at the Annual Meeting on April 17 and possibly
make a decision at that time.
-Copy Machine:  Copy machine is not working properly again.  The clerk
will check if there’s any warranty, otherwise, we’ll have to look into
getting a new one. 

Motion was made by Supervisor Caspary and seconded by Supervisor
Kuczkowski to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried (3 ayes).  The
meeting was duly adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
