 Theresa Town Board   _       Regular Meeting  __       January 4,
2012

The regular meeting of the Theresa Town Board was held on January 4,
2012 in the Theresa Town Hall.  The agenda for this meeting was posted
at the Town Hall Board, TSB Bank, and the Theresa Post Office.   

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Paul Christian at 7:30
p.m.  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  A motion was made by
Supervisor Perry Billings and seconded by Supervisor Faye Beck to
approve the agenda.  Motion carried. (3 ayes)   The minutes of the
December 5 meeting were read by the clerk.  A motion was made by
Supervisor Billings and seconded by Supervisor Beck to approve the
minutes.  Motion carried (3 ayes).  The minutes of the December 19
Special meeting were read by the clerk.  Supervisor Beck motioned to
approve the minutes and Supervisor Billings seconded.  Motion carried
(3 ayes).  

FINANCIAL
The financial report was given by Treasurer Diane Koch.  A motion was
made by Supervisor Billings and seconded by Supervisor Beck to approve
the financial report as given.  Motion carried.  (3 ayes)  Budget
status report was reviewed.  Supervisor Beck motioned to approve
payment of the bills.  Supervisor Billings seconded.  Motion carried
(3 ayes).  

CORRESPONDENCE
-Dodge County Land Conservation Department:  Letter about the Farmland
Preservation Program.
-Fire Inspection Services report

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS
-Discuss Ford F350 Truck repairs:  Frame is rusting away, but Don
Bonack will be able to repair it.  The older International truck has
been down for 10 days waiting for a water pump.  Don also reported
that the Town will not receive TRIP funding for Elm Rd.  And, he has
almost completed the sign assessment.
-Discuss Road Aid Grant for DNR properties:  Mohawk Rd. is due for
crackfilling and North Pole Rd. between the Theresa Station and the
bridge needs to be reconditioned.  Cost estimate is $30,030 for the
reconditioning.  A motion was made by Supervisor Beck to apply for the
Road Aid grant at up to 90% funding for both projects. Motion was
seconded by Supervisor Billings. Motion carried. (3 ayes). 
-Appoint new Ambulance Committee member:  Supervisor Billings motioned
to appoint Rick Geiger to fill in the remaining term of Paul Darner
(April, 2013).  Motion was seconded by Supervisor Beck.  Motion
carried (3 ayes)
-Review Fee Schedule:  The Board decided to remove the Farmland
Preservation Certificate fee and let all other fees remain the same.
-Review Draft of Zoning Ordinance:  The ordinance was reviewed with
changes noted.  A public hearing may be scheduled for Feb. 15 at 7:30
p.m. 

A motion was made by Supervisor Billings and seconded by Supervisor
Beck to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried (3 ayes).  The meeting
was duly adjourned at 9:25 p.m.
