 Theresa Town Board   _       Regular Meeting  __       January 5,
2009

The regular meeting of the Theresa Town Board was held on January 5,
2009 in the Theresa Town Hall.  The agenda for this meeting was posted
at the Town Hall Board, TSB Bank, and the Theresa Post Office.   

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Paul Christian at 7:35
p.m.  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  A motion was made by
Supervisor Brian Caspary and seconded by Supervisor Frank Kuczkowski
to approve the agenda.  Motion carried. (3 ayes)  The minutes of the
December 1 meeting were read by the clerk.  A motion was made by
Supervisor Kuczkowski and seconded by Supervisor Caspary to approve
the minutes.  Motion carried (3 ayes).  The minutes from the December
15 Special Meeting were read by the clerk.  Supervisor Caspary
motioned to approve the minutes.  Motion was seconded by Supervisor
Kuczkowski.  Motion carried (3 ayes).  

FINANCIAL
The financial report was given by Treasurer Diane Koch.  A motion was
made by Supervisor Kuczkowski and seconded by Supervisor Caspary to
approve the financial report as given.  Motion carried.  (3 ayes)  
Budget status report was reviewed.  Supervisor Kuczkowski motioned to
approve payment of the bills.  Motion was seconded by Supervisor
Caspary.  Motion carried (3 ayes).  

PUBLIC FORUM

CORRESPONDENCE 
-Letter from We Energies regarding project at N9098 Doyle Rd.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
-Fire Truck Purchase Update:  Scott Bernhard reported that the chassis
could be delivered this week.  Custom Fire Apparatus wants to move up
the delivery date of the truck as it could be done in a few months. 
The Board decided it does not want to take delivery until the end of
the year as originally planned unless payment can be deferred until
then.  Bernhard will see if deferment is a possibility or if there are
any other incentives to take early delivery.  
-Comprehensive Planning Committee:  A meeting was held on December 17.
 They discussed combining the current comprehensive plan with the new
goals they have been working on.  The next meeting will be on January
28. 
-Quarry Committee Update:  They had a meeting on Dec. 10.  The minutes
haven’t been approved yet, so they will be read at the February
meeting.  They are looking at putting the approved minutes on the
website.

NEW BUSINESS
-Budget Resolution 1-5-09-1:  A resolution changing the 2008 budget by
transferring $1600 from Legal Services to Highway Superintendent. 
Supervisor Caspary motioned to approve the resolution.  Supervisor
Kuczkowski seconded the motion.  Motion carried (3 ayes).
-Budget Resolution 1-5-09-2:  A resolution changing the 2009 budget by
transferring $2000 from Legal Services to Other Highway.  A motion was
made by Supervisor Caspary and seconded by Supervisor Kuczkowski to
approve the resolution.  Motion carried (3 ayes).
-Fee Schedule:  The fee schedule was discussed and no changes were
made.

A motion was made by Supervisor Kuczkowski and seconded by Supervisor
Caspary to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried (3 ayes).  The meeting
was duly adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
